OPW is happy to announce that technicians and contractors may now sign up online for AST/UST Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) classroom training and certification as well as online recertification.
The classroom sessions are for technicians or contractors who have never received AST/UST EVR certification from OPW. Classroom sessions are also necessary if the OPW EVR products have incurred significant change since a technician’s last certification.

Online recertification is also available to technicians and contractors who have been previously certified for AST or UST EVR system installation, provided that OPW’s AST/UST EVR products have not incurred significant change since the technician’s last certification.
Those qualified for online recertification can submit a request via the Online Recertification Request Form, or by visiting www.opwglobal.com and clicking "Phase 1 EVR Training" under the Tech Support menu. Technicians using the form must supply an OPW-issued Certification ID number so that previous certification can be validated. Once a request is approved, the technician will be sent links to training materials and a recertification test. Those that receive a passing grade on the online test will be emailed with confirmation of their recertification.
Note: EVR certification is mandated for California and limited areas outside California. If you are interested in training, please verify that EVR certification is required in your region before registering.
